Overall Satisfaction with Quick Base

Quick Base is being used for business process management. It is used across the whole organization from operations through to sales reporting to allow for visualization of metrics across the board. It allows users fast access to data across multiple streams of business processes. It alleviates the need to manually communicate menial updates to the team.

We custom built our entire application - it allowed us to create an environment that allows everyone in our organization to provide inputs on the data we will provide to our stakeholders and outputs to our customers. Quick Base is extremely agile, and can be developed and released into implementation very quickly!
Quick Base is a live database that is updated as users input data into it - SharePoint was previously used and we needed to push data into our SharePoint folder in order to update the data. It presented the challenge of multiple users being able to access and modify different records at the same time.

We were able to build an application in less than 6 months and deploy it to users to provide immediate relief and constant communication on order tracking. We were able to use this data to make informed decisions about our customer base and project future anticipations from our customers. We solved the issue of lack of streamlined and automated communication across teams with Quick Base.
Quick Base was entirely citizen developed with the help of some IT implementation. We were able to use the software company-wide. Our citizen developers that used the software were not previously exposed to developing Quick Base solutions and learned relatively quickly. Quick Base also offers courses and instruction on how to best use and build the app. There are tons of resources available for anyone willing to learn how to self develop.
I updated our Quick Base app to provide emails based on late arrival of required documentation to meet customer needs. Quick Base provides automated solutions and formulas based actions that allows the software to make smart communication decisions. My use case would allow the software to view a due date, check to see if all documentation was received, if not, it would flag the project to ensure project delivery was not compromised.
Well suited: Data management to internal team members who have access to a computer or need to send notifications to external parties. We use Quick Base to manage orders and communicate to our customers on the status of each order.
Less appropriate: As an interface to customers to allow for direct communication into Quick Base - users can access a survey page, but there are limits on engagement with the app not being user-friendly with the latest features like fingerprint reading or face ID.
