Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

We use QuickBase in our video department, but we are looking to expand our use to our photo department as well. We use QuickBase to track our inventory, add and manage video requests, track project status, and update timecards. It helps keep everything documented and organized, and helps track progress and time spent on projects which help us to be more efficient.
  • You can easily adapt apps and tables to meet many different needs of the company. It is a very versatile tool.
  • You can easily create reports and customize them to fit your needs.
  • QuickBase is great for organization and project management
  • It would be great if you could link fields from different tables in each app to create more detailed reports.
  • It would be very helpful if you were able to update a field in one table when a field in a different table updates. For example, If I submit a form in one table, a date field from another table would automatically populate with the date that the form was submitted.
  • The ability to have a master table that incorporates info from multiple other tables with full functionality would be nice.
I believe that our company has achieved this benefit. We have implemented QuickBase in some of our Facility Management programs to help track the process and effectiveness of the transition. We are also able to keep our inventories organized and manage our employees productivity. By using QuickBase, it makes it easier to track employee efficiency and adapt our workflows to create better productivity.
I have used Asana to help manage projects, but it doesn't have nearly as many features or customization options as QuickBase does. I selected QuickBase over Asana because there are so many different ways to track projects, and you can use it for just about anything. Asana limits you to basic project management, but QuickBase gives you the opportunity to do so much more, such as inventory management, time tracking, etc.
There are many pre-made apps available in QuickBase that you can use as templates to get started. You can build your app off of a template or create your own from scratch. There are training videos and classes available, as well as a large database to search for topics that you may need help with. There are also IT personnel available if you prefer to speak with someone in person. I think that any level of user can successfully build an application with all of the available resources.
  • Building and deploying business applications faster
  • Improving collaboration across one or more teams
  • Building and deploying an application (or multiple applications) that meets our exact needs
I am constantly updating my applications to meet my needs. It is very user-friendly and updates and maintenance are an easy process.
QuickBase is great for tracking and organizing. It is very appropriate if you'd like to track project progress, inventory, requests, etc. It is also helpful for client management and time tracking.

I have found a way to adapt QuickBase to most of our company and client needs. I'm sure that you can find use for just about any scenario.
