Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

Different teams are using Quickbase for different reasons. Quickbase is being used by the whole organization. It helps in project management, budgeting, forecasting, road mapping, sales tracking, task management, knowledge base, calendaring, incident management data, issue tracking and data warehousing. It centralizes information for easy access for many individuals and teams. It gives access to many for information, data, and collaboration.
  • Centralizes information to many users. When running a project, we have many people involved in the project. Quickbase allows us to add all members so everyone involved can see every task being worked on, added and completed.
  • When hours a project is billed quickbase helps us manage how many hours are being used to ensure that the project does not go over budget.
  • When scoping projects, quickbase gives access to everyone involved to give the most current updates so no items are missed and the most versions are stored in one location.
  • We see many applications that are similar but just different enough to have them work slightly different - Example Project manager applications, so many to choose.
  • Users tend to forget logins more frequently using quickbase than other applications, not exactly sure why. Only seem to be able to delete and read the user.
  • Have automatic settings for deletion of access and application. This would help in the management of the application.
I believe the organization has achieved this. Each team utilizes quickbase in all stages of the projects, sales, budgeting and other areas. It helps hit mile stones, reach sales forecasts, and transfer information easily to all team members. When items are missed quickbase helps keep things on track with notifications and updates. There are many uses that helps each member of a team get information in one location for easy access.
SharePoint also has many functions that help teams manage projects, information and data. Quickbase stacks up very well because it seems to be a little easier to use and teach other to use. There seems to be more options with quickbase which opens the opportunity to an organization to have more teams utilize the application.
Building applications are easy for non-technical individuals. It is a step by step process, asking what type of application you want to build, what information is needed while using the application and the different fields needed to give you everything from the application. With my experience I have not needed any additional help because the application gives you enough information to work through the setup of a new application.

We have achieved the outcomes needed by giving all personnel and teams the ability to have access to one application in one place. Giving each team the opportunity to use an application that fits their particular teams has helped achieve this. Giving all teams the ability to create custom applications for them has also help achieved this.
We use a calendar application that was already created, then we were able to update it to fit our calendar and team needs, After a little trial and error to get us exactly what was needed the process was pretty simple. The examples and information were pretty clear, we just needed to make sure we were getting the output we needed and wanted.
Very helpful when you first receive a project, add team members and areas that will be used by all team members. Gives ability to add tasks, manage those tasks, give updates on each task, then the completion of the tasks. It helps keep the project on schedule to ensure a successful timeline.
