Overall Satisfaction with Quickbase

We use it for different applications, but one of them is how we handle the intake of ideas and work that is being used that the engineering team then works on as part of the development.
  • I think it's easy to get set up and running and building systems, even complex ones, pretty quickly.
  • I've found that because it is a low code environment, there are times where you wanted to do certain things, but that's not really what it's built for. Maybe some of that is just a mindset.
  • I think they could increase some of the functionality on the reporting side
  • I don't have a numerical number for that. I will say that we are in terms of pursuing operational excellence, we are more efficient at what we do. And so I would assume that there would be a positive number for the ROI.
Speaker 1 (04:29):Well, one of the things that we like to do with our application is the quick turnaround so you can build it and fail fast. You can build something really fast and iterate through it quickly.
There's so many things that do change and when they do change, QuickBase makes it so much easy and it's pretty easy to do that. So we love the product.
What makes it complex is a lot of different factors, especially a company like Farmers. But I think the, as I mentioned, ability to centralize the data, the quick ability to turn things around fast is how we can utilize it in order to solve our business problems, our complex ones.

Do you think Quickbase delivers good value for the price?

Did Quickbase live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Quickbase go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Quickbase again?

Yes

For best suited, I'd say if they need a database system to be up and running with forms and information where people, users, and customers can submit information that's very easy, very quick to do, then QuickBase doesn't require a lot of programming. If you're looking for a large system that integrates with lots of different systems, QuickBase can do it, but you may want to look and see if that's really the system for you or if you need something a little bit, you know, larger, a robust SQL server or something like that.
