Quickbase

We used only CRM management solution by Quickbase that helped us breakdown CRM data silos and helped us focus on datapoints which are useful for us.

Quickbase has introduced the ability to have dashboards with reports pulled from multiple applications. This allows each department to work within its own set of applications made specifically for its tasks and responsibilities. Then, we are able to pull the relevant information and auto-populate various fields or even create the needed records for processes within other departments, depending on the situation.

We recently built an app to track a Windows 11 refresh project. The application is so versitile it can notify users, allow them to self-schedule, report on user groups and software installed on the previous machine, track the deployment stages from Imaging to app installment to returning the machine to the user and tracking inventory. We even set up a follow-up survey to grab anything we may have missed. This used to be handled through email and messaging and had a "Tag you're it" approach. Machines were going out to users that weren't 100% finished. Quickbase has allowed us to streamline the process in an efficient manner because once we designed the process, the workflow is there and it is repeatable. :)

As it is platform independent we can use this tool anywhere in the world. It is easy to implement. With less skill set one can build his/her own application in which they can store the data, manage the data based the access provided to the users. Effective reports and charts can be used for data modeling. Pipelines can be used to trigger any notifications.

Our contract has many facets from business management, client location operations, engineering, asset management, project management, reports among others. We have been able to create applicaitons within Quickbase that have allowed groups to collect/store/access the data that is pertinent to them but also using table to table relationships have allowed us to pull data from one application to another (think mirroring data) to create wholistic pictures while only having to enter data once. For example, we have a part number catalog that we keep that is used by business management for purchase orders, engineering by ROM/BOM/Quotes, asset management, project management for ordering and testing/turning up the equipment and reporting for internal and customer use.

QuickBase has made it simpler for our company to provide real-time reporting of how projects are going, helping to forecast if additional resources are necessary to stay on target for completion, and it's made it simpler for larger teams to ensure the same work isn't accidentally completed twice through an automated assignment/checkout process several of our applications are utilizing.

Because of the platforms workflow capabilities, we can allow multiple parties/roles to contribute to the application which helps us bring greater value to the overall process. Sending notifications, alerts, generating reports, workflows, integrating with 3rd party applications to allow exchange of information makes the collaboration more stronger and worthy.

Quickbase as an organization does not provide ways to break down the information silos or cause collaboration. That is brought about by leadership buy-in and enabling me to do my job.

Since Quickbase is readily available across departments, it has made the process so much easier for others to view and/or edit records. With the tool updated real time, there's no need to share spreadsheets through email anymore. Everyone sees the same info real time.

Yes, we have some collaborations with different applications through Quickbase API which has great opportunities to connect with different applications and make the work very simple.

Quickbase helps as a centralized application to work on.

Quickbase allows us to seamlessly share information and provide employees only with the information they need by setting up user roles. This helps with collaboration because we were able to reduce the amount of digging around through emails and spreadsheets to get to the information that's needed to perform a task.

The program is web-based which allows multiple users to be picking away at data at the same time. If it was in a spreadsheet, it would not be as collaborative. The user structure functionality gives me complete control over data getting into the wrong hands. It allows me to choose who gets to see what and their level of permission - view only, edit, add, delete, etc.

Quickbase is very much helpful in enabling collaboration among different teams. The visibility it provides for project management helps us keep track of what the other team is doing. The executive dashboards enables us to provide a single business view which the leadership team prefers, thereby helping us gain an overall perspective. The centralized repository approach also enables us to easily break down silos and improves our business process.

We have eliminated information silo's and diverged away from spreadsheets managed at the individual level. The more data available to the Quickbase platform the more relationships that can be made, information cross-referenced, and information revealed.

Ultimately it depends on the use case, but Quickbase provides a single source where you can move workflows, processes and information into a single spot out of email or miscellaneous spreadsheets. Quickbase allows hybrid teams to move these into an application or suite of applications where they can then provide reporting, gather additional input from other users and build in additional tools such as approvals, email reminders/notifications etc that ultimately help collaboration and assist in the overall work product of a team. Quickbase often can be used to outright replace spreadsheet/PDF processes or it can be used to extend / optimize existing enterprise systems that fall short in a couple of ways that can then be integrated and improved with Quickbase as opposed to doing it manually or outside of a system setting.

It helps us get real-time updates. It means that when we are working on a single project as one team to make any kind of change, we also get an update about it immediately. Thus, this help in collaborating with other teams on a single project with all kind of collaborative features.

We have not collaborated with anyone yet.We have build our own app but I am interested in learning how I can improve and upgrade our current system

We've developed a series of automations, via Quickbase Pipelines, so when one Team finishes their project goal, it is then automatically handed off to the next Team to finish the next set of goals during the journey of going solar.

Moves data to a centralized location allowing all to access and leverage the data as needed. Teams can see the current status and volume of workload in different departments. You can also use workflow-type automation to standardize handoffs between process flow steps.

Because Quickbase has dashboards and the information is in real time, it allows people working from just about anywhere to work on things at the same time and to collaborate and pass things between groups/departments to keep the business moving. It connects the field employees to the office staff and helps add transparency to the process. It also allows us to have metrics on each part of the process so we can track our efficiency and how well each step is performing.

The ability to run the application from almost any environment, such as an HTML page makes it easy to customize your own web siteto use the application

The variety of report styles and ability to customize the data allows us to more easily interpret it, which results in quicker and more well-informed decisions being made.

It provides a single repository of the information that was previously tracked in multiple independent spreadsheets. Allows users to share a single source of information so that there is vastly reduced confusion when collaboration is necessary.

It was easy to get everyone's input and implement them into the software itself.
