Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use QuickBooks Online Advanced to track accounts payable and receivable in connection with client projects. It gives us a clear picture of where we are financial with each project at any given time. Very easy to track multiple vendor payments against money allocated for the project. Statements to clients are easily made and duplicated and can be set up for reminders in seconds.

Very easy to set up, and after some initial stumbles, we were quickly up and running within a couple of weeks.

Our associates are located in Virginia and Colorado, and being able to access the information either individually or simultaneously has been an asset vs when we formerly used QuickBooks desktop and only one person could access the information and then run multiple reports, upload them and send them to others in the organization.

One of its best features for us is tracking multiple vendor payments against multiple projects to be sure there are no over/underpayments and hours are adhered to.

QuickBooks Desktop Pro

QuickBooks Online Advanced is way more intuitive and can be used by multiple users simultaneously. The backup feature saves having a separate company provide that service to you. In addition, the assistance from QuickBooks Online Advanced is very good and reassuring when you run into an unusual scenario. This is why we made the switch.

If you have a small business, QuickBooks Online Advanced is a relatively painless way to keep track of your financial picture on any given day. It is user-friendly, intuitive, and easy to set up. If you run into a problem, the help team will pleasantly assist you. Even the chat works well for uncomplicated questions. Our company is small, but I also work for another company that uses the product and the payroll feature and it simplifies all the employee tax reporting at year-end.
