Overall Satisfaction with Riskified

We use Riskified to assess fraud in our customer orders. Riskified helps us scope out fraudulent orders and we process every order through the platform!

Pros

  • Ease of use/ UX
  • Identifies trends on a macro level
  • Response time/support

Cons

  • Missing functionality/ explanation: not having full understanding why some orders with multiple "red flags" are accepted/approved by Riskified
  • Missing functionality: It would be great if there was an option to resubmit an order after approving a second look (so that the customer doesn't have to place a second order)
  • The support I've received isn't always uniform (sometimes the agent will ask me to provide additional information about an order, sometimes they won't. It seems to be random?)
  • Fraud mitigation
  • Time and cost manually reviewing orders
  • Increased revenue as more orders are approved
As mentioned previously, support has always gotten back to me in a timely manner. However, the response I've received from different agents has been quite varied. Some will ask for additional information before approving an order, others won't. It would be good to adopt a more uniform approach to all orders!
Riskified has definitely enabled our business to expand its e-commerce operations, as the business operates primarily in the e-commerce space, it's important to have confidence in our transactions on a day-to-day basis (as well as room to innovate after having observed order trends from Riskified). Implementing Riskified for all orders has lead to a more uniform ordering experience for customers as well!
Have not used other products aside from Riskified yet.

Would you buy Riskified again?

Yes

Riskified has been very well suited for high volume orders, where we cannot comb through every transaction. It also works very well at identifying trends and working through chargebacks for our business. A scenario in which Riskified is less appropriate is for rewards orders (sometimes customers will place $0 orders redeeming their rewards, that Riskified has canceled) or maybe for a smaller business.
