Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Intacct is being used strictly on our finance and tech team. It has been very helpful in automating reports and other manual labor such as data management and budgeting. Intacct offers an immense range of customization, and can even create custom departments/reports individual to a team. It has also allowed our team to take on a higher capacity of higher accounting work now that the automation of daily tasks reduces the workload.

Requires implementation team and the payment plan can range greatly
Poor online support system, slow responses/feedback to requests

GAAP Compliant accounting
Fraud Detection, cleaner books have helped locate discrepancies

Sage Intacct Automation

The automation of general ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc., has allowed our finance team to maintain our number of employees while the company has grown and the volume of work has increased. Although orders are continuously increasing in volume, the automation has reduced the manual labor involved and we can still concentrate on the higher level accounting tasks.

Sage Intacct Extensibility

We do not use these financial capabilities described above.

Ease of Integration

I do not have insight into the ease of integration, however Sage intacct does have a dedicated line we contact for API integration issues which, although slow, has worked.

Likelihood to Recommend

Well Suited:
A company that has outgrown the lower-level accounting systems and would like to update to a higher more GAAP compliant system. Beware of the higher costs, however if you're looking for future growth of the company, Intacct is a system that can handle the larger volume to come.
