Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Switching from Sage 100 to Sage Intacct is likely the most significant blunder I've made in my career. They market as a contractor software; In my opinion, it is not! In my opinion Sage Intacct lacks basics contractor functionality like insurance compliance, payroll, the process to do a two-party check is a 'workaround' and time-consuming. In my experience if an invoice gets paid and wasn't market billable you can't bill it; in my opinion, the job costing reporting filters are a complete joke and a massive step backward from 100. In my opinion Sage Intacct is a Snake Oil, you pay more for way less functionality.
- In my opinion burying items entered at entity level
- In my opinion pushing good employees into wanting to quit
- In my opinion, costing more than better software
- Accounts Payable
- Payroll Reporting
- T&M billing
- Job Cost Reporting
- In my opinion, no attention was made to make data entry easy
In my opinion, the multi ledger system in clunky and AP is inferior to Sage 100
They call it multi-entity but in my opinion it really is not. I have found you cannot remove the main name on your Sage Intacct account from other entity financials. In my experience if you want to do a consolidation of multiple entities know that the name of the Entity your Sage Intacct is under will be displayed at the top of the financials if that entity is included in that consolidation or not.
