Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Sage Intacct is a brilliant tool which provides a support to help our clients to get a complete Accounting Solution Package. It is very user friendly and provides a solution for every ask and requirement of the client effectively.
  • Readymade reports – There are multiple readymade reports available within Sage Intacct, which usually serve the purpose. These will be mostly the reports which are used on a very regular basis. This shows, how the tool understands the requirements of the people. This would help management for financial analysis with ease.
  • Very good features – it has some very good features such as payment application, GJ upload, which will be very easy and anyone can perform the activity just by learning once.
  • Journal Entries – Usually posting reclassification or any other JE for that matter would be a complex process and chances of going wrong would be very high, however Sage Intacct makes it very easy and help users to understand it very quickly.
  • As soon as the payment status turns to “Paid” the entry gets blocked, not allowing us to make any changes. However, in practical scenarios, there will be instances where we need to make some corrections. It would be of great help if we could get this feature enabled.
  • Audit Log – Need to improve the audit log to provide more accurate and complete information about any changes.
  • Since we are in an era of Social Marketing – more the visual impact, more the over all impact. So need to incorporate Dashboard Feature to get a glimpse of the health of the process/company by an eagle eye view.

This automation has done wonders by saving a lot of man hours of work to minutes by reducing the possibilities of manual error and manage the Clients with voluminous transactions and increase the CSAT score (Client satisfaction) which benefits both Clients as well as the firm which provides the Accounting Services. The Automation improves the quality and quick turnaround of the services to the Clients which would result in increase in the firm’s credibility in the marketplace.
In my current organization we use the multi-entity module which has a very impactful result for the accounting services. The Clients get very happy when they see, even though the entries are being posted at entity level still they can get their financial Published in a consolidated way to showcase their performance to the investors and this will be really playing a pivotal role.
The Sage Intacct used on a day to day basis by me and my team has been configured by the technical team in our organization. We record the financial transactions as per the details received from our Client via emails or Bills from vendors. I must say it has been configured in such a way that it has become very user friendly and also the configuration itself was at very ease as per the internal technical team.

We have also used ‘The BILL’ application for Controllership, Accounts Payables and Receivables for processing the Bills or Invoices, applying the money and once the data gets integrated with Sage Intacct through a regular sync, Sage Intacct comes up with the financial transactions and reports which In turn makes it easy to project the clients about their financial standing. This would help them take the correct financial decisions to grow their organization in the right direction.
I think Sage Intacct is a perfect application for small and mid-sized businesses which are looking to effectively manage their accounting framework. In my experience, it enables businesses to make decisions in an informed and timely manner, helping them shape their organization in a competitive market. With the help of accurate financial statements, businesses can secure additional funding through loans or other advances, which in turn allows for expansion and increased business opportunities.
