Overall Satisfaction with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Salesforce Advertising Studio (formerly Social.com) allows me to use my client's 1st party data to message their customers and look-a-likes within the customer journey. I used this across a variety of campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Mobile. The primary use case if executing different creative variants for the right message to the right user.
Pros
- It has a large network of resources
- Good customer service
Cons
- Tracking pixel usage is not consistent
- No new tailored options in a while
- Less waste by maximizing 1st party data
- No need for outsourcing creative
The main reason for utilizing Salesforce Advertising Studio (formerly Social.com) is due to the direct stack connection to the marketing cloud to access CROM data. Overall, it is a safe and seamless environment to help quickly work and connect all channels. It would be difficult to outsource to another platform because then there may be a disruption to my consumer journey mappings.
