Overall Satisfaction with SAP Ariba Procurement

We use SAP Ariba Sourcing, Contract Management, and Supplier Lifecycle Management to help with creating Sourcing Projects and Sourcing Events to go out to market. We then create contracts to house the metadata and documents of a contract.

  • Visibility to users on the progress
  • Approvals
  • Audit history, being able to report on approval comments
  • Integration within the modules, specifically SLP and sourcing
  • Electronic Approvals
  • Process and Tasks
  • N/A - we went live less than a year ago
SAP Ariba is good for walking users through things, but have gotten feedback that there are too many clicks and system can look a bit outdated

How the system can tailor towards the needs of the public sector
SAP Ariba does similar, guided buying is a nice touch from the other software.

SAP Ariba provides visibility to users on where in the procurement process something is. It helps our user follow the process and tasks required to complete procurement and makes approvals electronic.
