Overall Satisfaction with SAP Business Network
We use the SAP Business Network to transact business with our customers and it is one of the most used eCommerce channels in Computacenter.
- Easy integration
- Wide reach to different suppliers
- Give flexibility to transact either fully integrated or where required also with a manual touch
- Complex account logic / multiple ANIDs required
- Getting transaction reports across multiple ANIDs
- Efficiency gains - enabler for automated order processing
- Having a relationship creates also some stickiness with those customers
- Obviously there not insignificant cost involved in using the network, which in a price sensitive market are sometimes a bit of a burden
We receive Sourcing Event and respond to them over the network, as well as then afterwards transaction through this channel. This works great, however, particularly the RFP phase and the onboarding could be tied together better, because we feel that is not always the most slick process.
Starting from giving better visibilty over the customers on the network, the analytics provided also give us insight on what and how those customers buy from us.
It nicely integrates with all the other tools.
