Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud
SAP S/4HANA Cloud is the next generation ERP from SAP, built on top of HANA. I have used SAP S/4HANA Cloud as an end user as well as implemented SAP S/4HANA Cloud for different clients. It helps to handle huge amounts of data and manages a lot of transactions without any hassle. The new Fiori interface gives a great user experience altogether to the SAP S/4HANA Cloud functionality.
- Great performance as it leverages HANA.
- Great user experience through the use of SAP Fiori.
- Real-time reporting and data reconciliation.
- Better theme for transactions in terms of user experience and usability.
- More documentation on which T-code is obsolete and which is the corresponding Fiori app available for that T-Code.
- Immediate release of Feature Packs can be avoided as it leads to confusion.
- Better consolidation of processes - single source of truth.
- Better user experience in terms of using Fiori.
- Power of SAP S/4HANA Cloud - real-time reporting.
SAP ECC/ERP was the erstwhile enterprise solution which was widely used by SAP customers and is in fact still being used by a lot of them today. This was a conventional ERP and didn't have the advanced features of SAP S/4HANA Cloud. With SAP S/4HANA Cloud, the memory and data footprint is considerably reduced due to HANA; also we have the new user experience in Fiori which wasn't available in the traditional ERP. Also, real-time reporting is a possibility now with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, which wasn't possible with ERP.
