Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use the SAP S/4HANA Cloud to get rid of our on premise infrastructure and to host our new ERP system in the cloud. Scalability is an big thing for us since we are growing fast and the cloud architecture allows us to tackle this issue.

Usability

Usability is good and I appreciate the switched to a web based GUI. The ECC one looks like very old and does not attract young talent.

Even oracle has also a cloud based ERP system, it lacks in the user friendliness and integration with other systems

It is well suited for fast growing SME businesses , where scalability is needed but also the inhouse technical skills are maybe not there to run a inhouse application management. From an IT security point of view its well suited. For use cases where the company is not mature from an IT perspective I would not recommend it. The overall complexity shouldnt be underestimated.
