Using SeekOut - Pros and Cons!
Overall Satisfaction with SeekOut
We are using SeekOut to source candidates for our open roles at our company beyond LinkedIn as it pulls candidates to reach out to from other social networks. As a bonus, it also shows you contact info for them such as phone and email addresses for prospective candidates so you can reach out beyond the use of InMail from LinkedIn.
Pros
- Shares contact info
- Shows candidates from all over the internet
- Has areas used for diversity searches
Cons
- Does not pull its data quick enough - candidate profiles can be often outdated by several months when you click on them for more info
- Emails are not always correct and you can reach out to the wrong person
- The emailing out function from the product is very basic and does not work as well as other tools I have used.

SeekOut is easy to use and provides crucial contact info such as phone numbers and emails for candidates, as every recruiter is using Linkedin Recruiter to contact candidates right now in this crazy hiring market. It is easy to put on diversity filters. It has insights into the market depending upon your search such as how many candidates are in the Bay Area, has certain degrees, etc.
