Overall Satisfaction with SeekOut
We use SeekOut for identifying diverse and underrepresented talent in North America. At Workday, we value diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. SeekOut allows us to filter our search results by race, gender, veteran status, and more. When I initially started with Workday, I was a Diversity Sourcing Specialist. SeekOut allows me to find talent that may not always be on the first pages of LinkedIn. It also shows us candidates through GitHub which is useful when many candidates decline to use LinkedIn.
Pros
- Identifies diverse talent easily
- Great AI search feature
- Honing in on geographic locations that are suited for specific talent
- Pulls data from other sources outside of LinkedIn
Cons
- Profiles could be updated on a more regular basis.
- The AI could be improved to show more accurate results (although this will come with time and more users taking advantage of the feature)
- Adding boolean into certain areas could be improved o na UI side.
- Reduced time to hire for diverse candidates
- Makes diversity search easier for sourcing and recruiting teams
