Overall Satisfaction with Slack
We use Slack for multiple types of daily communications. It has replaced at least 50% of emails volume and it [is] helping us also reduce Zoom meetings, which populate our calendars [giving] us less time to focus [on] work.
- Ability to gather all the people in the project in one connected channel
- Quick and spontaneous one-on-one or group calls using the huddles
- Constantly adding relevant features: e.g. record and send voice messages
- Ability to integrate Google Drive and Google Docs
- [The ability to] see if people [are] active despite the status they choose to [display].
- The way it shows unread messages can be improved. Once you read them, they still appear highlighted in the original channels.
- Slack has given us the chance [to] take different projects at once without losing our minds.
- [It] has helped reduce at least 50% of mail load. So much easier to keep post its.
Skype has been an ally for many years, but during that time, we haven't seen many upgrades or actualizations that actually meant an improvement for the user. They mostly changed [the] layout. With Slack, we see improvements happen every now and then. It's amazing how they continue adding great features, that you [didn't] even know you wanted it.
