Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor
We use it to monitor key websites, servers, services, and WAN traffic. It allows us to be proactive about issues often before they become a problem.
- Allows us to see WAN utilization so we can size our WAN links correctly
- Identifies Port errors
- Allows us to centralize WAN link support contacts and line IDs
- Netflow could use some improvement
- UI takes some time to get used to.
- Setting alerts and fine tuning them takes some work
- Reduced downtime
- More visibility into issues before they are problems
- Better reporting and planning
