Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor
ACOM has several different systems that need to be monitored to include critical applications and sql servers. The primary use is to monitor critical applications and syslogs to ensure that they have maximum up time and to mitigate any failures before they happen. Also use the notification services to allows staff to be proactive instead of reactive.
- Notification Service allows us to apply fixes on our systems before issues occur.
- The performance monitoring allows staff to plan the infrastructure, which allows us to provide the best service to our endusers.
- Helps SQL staff streamline database queries and eliminate bottleneck in resources.
- Allows staff to monitor from the web console and fix small issues that effect performance.
- Reporting, It would be nice to create KPI and report on them on a recurring basis.
- Provide trending activity notifications that will allow staff to see organization needs that should be addressed.
- Provide overall infrastructure dashboard that will let managers look at their server and application performance at a snapshot.
- Helps staff manage resources effectively.
- Helps staff identify SQL issues before there is a failure.
- Helps staff provide positive impact on server infrastructure.
