Overall Satisfaction with Spiff
Our organization uses Spiff to help sales reps keep track of sales commissions. We used to have a home-grown tool, but the rules/reasoning behind commission payouts was unclear. Most reps just ended up trusting it was ok before, but now we can see exactly what we're paid, why that is the amount that was paid, and what the breakdown is per deal.
Pros
- Up-to-date and accurate commission information
- Breakdown per deal (including payout rules) is clear
- Can access from computer or iPhone app.
Cons
- iPhone app doesn't seem to allow me to see per-deal commission breakdown
- I would love to see my commission info in salesforce.
- Improved sales rep productivity and performance.
- Increased transparency into compensation calculations
Yes. I have been keeping track of my own commissions on an excel sheet all year. I didn't trust Spiff at first, because very few sales reps trust any commission calculation other than themselves. Spiff has always been spot on.
