Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise

I use Splashtop remote access with 2 of my bookkeeping clients. I had the 2 clients install their own licensed version of Splashtop as it was the best fit for them, and their own staff can also log in remotely to work rather than have to drive to the office. I can log in remotely and do their bookkeeping and print reports either at their office or mine. I have found it faster, better, and cheaper than LogMeIn (which one of the businesses used to use). When I had a small suggestion re the speed of file transfers, Splashtop took those thoughts on board and within a week, file transfers were much faster. I also have Splashtop on my own desktop so that I can log into my own computer while away from the office. It saves me from storing all sorts of sensitive info in the cloud. Recently, I was away from the office for an extended period due to ill health but was able to Splashtop into my own PC, and from there Splashtop into one of my clients. I am not a fan of cloud storage. Splashtop is super secure and I know my data is safe.
  • remote access
  • file transfer for backup purposes
  • remote printing
  • nothing that I can think of
  • definited positive impact. I no longer need to drive to a couple of my distant clients.
very easy to deal with. I just sent a suggestion, and the next thing I know, there was an update that fixed my issue.
Splashtop security ticks all the boxes for me. Secure, but not so over the top that users can't cope. Device verification is great - no need to re-authorize every time I log in. Both I and my clients know that the connection is secure and sensitive data is safe.
The set up was very intuitive and simple. Just follow the prompts and all done.
Yes - Splashtop is my go-to choice. The one client I used to have on Logmein was actually the one that triggered the change to Splashtop. They are an NFP with very limited funding. Their Logmein subscription cost kept going up and up and the NFP discount kept getting lower and lower. I did a bit of searching and came across Splashtop. Pricing was much better than Logmein and when I contacted them and asked about the NFP discount, I was very pleasantly surprised. I have the occasional client who just needs a one-off support session and they choose to use Teamviewer free - but I have most of my clients now using Splashtop as I usually need to be able to print in my office etc.

remote working - Splashtop came to the fore during COVID. I recommended to an accountant's office where 10 staff needed to continue working but were unable to attend the office. They set up a 10 user Splashtop license for a very acceptable price and loved the ability to use 2 screens at home to match their office setup. They were very, very happy. Others had advised them to use Teamviewer - they were very glad they didn't!
