Splashtop makes it easy and secure !
Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise
I use it myself and I also grant access to freelancers to be able to work remotely on one of our central capture stations. During the first few months of Covid Lockdown, my Digi tech was able to work remotely on the station during a photoshoot.
Pros
- Opens up a session remotely on another machine, fast, and securely
- Operate a computer from anywhere in the world with an internet connection
Cons
- file transfer is very sloppy and skittish - i've never gotten it to work
- working from a single monitor to a remote machine with multiple monitors is not elegant.
- Its been very trustworthy and reasonably priced for what it does. That's really all I want
- So far I have not had any bad surprises where I've installed the latest version and it doesn't work well.
- Sometimes Ill just need to log onto a machine to quit an app that is running so I can open up it up on another machine. Great! Don't need to go all the way across town and back.
I like that I can control security and get a warning email when someone is logged in.
I was up and running very quickly. All the features are logically integrated
Yes - I was using Logmein. it was " okay" but nothing great - it had features that I did not care about. when they tripled their price I looked elsewhere and found Splashtop. tried it out and loved it. Since then I've recommended it to another colleague who loves it too!
