Use Cases and Deployment Scope

TeamViewer is the best thing since sliced bread! TeamViewer give us the ability to remote into employees computers to give the quicker support possible and also support to our employees that work from home or in other offices. TeamViewer is installed on all of out endpoints giving us the ability to give remote support to anyone in our organization.

Alternatives Considered

ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)

TeamViewer is much more responsive than ScreenConnect when we tested them both out. I will say ScreenConnect did have better multiple monitor support but it is harder to get things done because the controlling of the endpoint isn't as responsive.

TeamViewer is well suited for any organization that has employees that are spread out, whether they are working remotely, another building away or on the other side of the world, TeamViewer will give you the ability to quickly connect to their computer and give them quick and easy support. This also gives you the flexibility to work at home if needed and still give support to your employees.
