Overall Satisfaction with Tout
Tout was being used by the sales and marketing teams in order to more effectively manage email tracking, create templates, and extract analytics to help the sales teams increase overall engagement throughout the sales process.
Pros
- A clean and easy-to-use interface. Anyone can use it.
- Tout integrates seamlessly with apps like Salesforce and Gmail.
- Efficient email tracking capability to see who is reading what and when.
Cons
- There is a low sending limit that makes it hard to scale quickly.
- Not the best customer support team. They're hard to get in touch with.
- Needs stronger analytical levers.
- It's enabled more efficiency for our SDR team to track and monitor emails.
- Increased our ability to better target prospects as we learned more about their behaviors.
- The automation tools for email, and the ability to get glimpses into how that impacted pipeline development, were worth the cost.
Unlike the other tools I mentioned, Tout is full of surprises in a pretty small bag. Tout remains a user-friendly tool that allows free Email tracking and Email templates. It’s also a Sales engagement platform for data-focused salespeople. I found it is very productive and effective, while still having a large bang for the buck. It also seems to be more intuitive when it comes to a new user starting out on it.
