Overall Satisfaction with Trello
I use Trello as part of my team to communicate, post leads and track previous work completed. It's easy to review and check to see if I've already submitted a lead before. Also, I like how I receive an email if I'm away from my desk if a team member has asked a question or given me a new task to perform.
- It's easy to see several things at once, it's a really helpful visual to see what others on my team are contributing. For people that are new, it's easy to give a recommendation about how to best comment and suggest a more efficient workflow.
- Emails are not sent every time data is inputted, only when someone wants to get your attention or make sure you've received a directive.
- You don't have to sign in every time you use the program, it's up for days at a time and doesn't time you out if you haven't used it for a day or two. Very nice feature for those of us that have tons of windows open in our browser any given day.
- I haven't seen anything in particular that I didn't like, honestly.
- The instructional video was helpful, but I had to watch it 3 times to get the hang of navigating around the software. Not necessarily a bad thing, it's common for learning new programs.
- Much more tedious to use the mobile version. But hey, when the dashboard is that jam packed with needed info, you can't really complain.
- It saves time, which allows me to make more money on other projects.
- No negative impact.
- I've only used it because my employer asked me to. Now that I'm used to it, I would use it if I were managing a medium size to large team.
- Asana, Salesforce and zoho
Trello is the best of the ones I mentioned because it's visual and shows LOTS of things at once, rather that clicking on several different links to see only a moderate amount of info. One click, lots of info, saves time. Too many links makes it cumbersome and ultimately I might forget to click on one of them.
