Overall Satisfaction with Trello

It is used among developers to handle the current status of projects. Through their different columns, each worker in a project knows the status of each task and who is working on it. Before that, we didn't have a quick way to see the scope of any project, to see if a task was planned, executed, finished, etc.

Pros

  • Quick view of any tasks, the status, and who is doing it.
  • It's very customizable. You can change colors, positions, background, add new columns, etc.
  • It's very lightweight and offers a good mobile version, so you can work from your phone.

Cons

  • New users might get lost or not know what to do with the application. It needs to have a quick guide to start working with it.
  • No integration to other tools. We would like to be integrated into some control version software and issue trackers to sync development tasks with organization tasks.
  • I haven't found a way to make reports to see how much it took a task to move to another status, see reports by user to know how they spend time on tasks and if they are using the application, etc.
  • As a freelancer it lets me handle multiple clients at the same time and know what's the next step to with them so I'm not forgetting any customer/client.
  • With the reminders, I've been able to force myself to finish some tasks because I can see its end date in the calendar.
I found Wrike difficult to use at first. Also, the entry barrier was higher since I needed to put an email to receive a trial. I didn't like pricing etc. I just wanted to register and start using the application as fast as I could.

Also, I didn't know if their mobile application was good, but I didn't hear anything special about it from co-workers.
I never had problems with Trello. The only support needed could be when setting the initial account, which was quick and without any problems for me.

Did implementation of Trello go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Trello again?

Yes

It is well suited if you have many processes handled by one or many workers at the same time. These processes should pass through small steps/phases with single flows so they can be moved between columns. If you have complex flows avoid this software.

I used for my freelance work and in house stuff. The software lets you create different dashboards with different members so you don't have to mix them.

I love it! it's really easy to do, loads faster. You can switch to different columns quickly and see the scope of tasks in a single view without any complication. Their mobile interface is very intuitive.

You can even use the web version if you don't want to install the native version.
It's really easy to use. You don't need to start learning stuff just log in to the dashboard, create some tasks and start moving them to see changes.
