Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We utilize TriNet as our PEO. It is used firm-wide. I mainly use their services for financial reporting purposes, but also on a personal level for my paychecks.
  • The app is very user-friendly.
  • The normal payroll process can be self-administrated and is relatively straightforward to process.
  • The standard reporting is good, the custom reporting could use some improvement.
  • The client service has not been very strong. Our dedicated rep seems unorganized, and often the turnaround time for requests is slow. As a facilitator, they do not add a ton of value.
The technology platform is solid. The customer service really will depend on who the assigned dedicated representative is, and some are better than others.
I think the ease of execution for most tasks is part of the company's strengths and speaks to the strength of their platform.
  • The main benefit of switching has been the medical benefit offering.
  • Negatively, it has come at a cost, which is significant on a per employee headcount basis.
Best benefit offerings, and a very strong tech platform.
I believe it is a good solution for small businesses where there is little to no HR department.
I think medium size firms with an HR staff can find more cost-effective solutions.
