Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

TriNet is used for our PEO (Payroll Provider) providing payroll services, including paying employees, allocating and paying payroll taxes, providing benefits.providing payroll data access to employees, etc. They have helped to resolve issues such as timeliness in funding, 941 tax forms, assistance with employee and payroll related questions.
  • TriNet's Customer Service is exemplary and they address issues with urgency.
  • TriNet's Human Resource Partnership is also superb. They don't consider any matter too small to assist and address immediately.
  • TriNet offer alternatives when issues are addressed and are proactive in most cases.
  • TriNet's Sales Department created an area of concern that we are still dealing with in reference to timing in funding. We were advised that the funding would be handled one way and it is handled differently. It is important that the sales team provide truthful and reliable information upfront with customers regarding how processes are handled, as the results can greatly/gravely affect the organization.
  • We have had occasions where we were required to provide a 941 for our organization, however we have to deal with a work around as TriNet combines the 941 with other organizations.
  • More customization regarding start date for Benefits will greatly enhance the payroll experience.
TriNet's Customer Service Team is one of the best, particularly our customer service representative, Alecia Jimenez. She is prompt, effective and gives immediate attention to all requests. She is one of the best customer service reps that I have encountered. She has been immensely helpful with the following:
  1. Addressing payroll issues.
  2. Correcting technical issues.
  3. Serving as an efficient liaison between our organization and other areas of TriNet, i.e, Tax Team, Payroll Deduction Team, Retirement Team, etc.
The new I-9 process can be tweaked to a more user friendly process. The previous process was more user friendly.
  • Provided a customized Paycheck Protection Plan File that allowed companies/organizations to pull seamlessly. This was very helpful.
Pros
1) Customer Service & HR are very responsive.
2) System is user friendly.
Cons
1) Sales Team was not open, honest and truthful about the funding process.
