Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers
I found TrustRadius while searching for a web conferencing tool to use in talent development and sales applications. I'm a tester and a user, and I'm beginning to bring other departments (like Procurement and IT) into the process as we move forward in our selection. I wanted to know how our current tools rate compared to the one I'm reviewing now.
- To understand my options (i.e. build my short list or long list)
- To compare products
- To find evidence to support my recommendation to colleagues or my client
- To see what other users think of the product I am currently using
The TrustMap is where I started. This provided an easy-to-understand visual of where different vendors rate. From there I dove into the user-reviews of our current vendors and saw how they compared to the new one we've been considering. The reviews are short enough to scan quickly but long enough to give me the information I need. I also used the filters at the top of the review page to filter for other enterprise companies, like the one I work for. Everything is excellent and super easy-to-read.
I looked for reviews from companies like mine (enterprise and global), and also scanned the lowest and highest-rated reviews. The Pros and Cons checklist in each review is great for scanning quick features, benefits, and also bug reports. Reviewers give their usage case and what they love and hate about the service. Many also mentioned competing vendors and how moving from one vendor to another solved or created problems.
This is huge! It's like reading reviews on Amazon before buying a new gadget. Honest, real user reviews can make all the difference. Salespeople (of course) will gloss over or ignore the faults of their solution, but users talk about it all. Great transparency!
- TrustMap - this is the place to start! Get a quick overview of the vendors, how often they have been reviewed, and how they scored.
- TrustRadius came up quickly in my Google search for reviews of web conferencing tools. It was easy to find.
- Reviews - these are verified, well-written, and follow a consistent format. It made comparing reviews and comparing vendor products quite simple.
- Ability to filter reviews by user-type (ie. decision-makers vs. users) could be useful to see how others "like me" view the vendor.
- TrustMap - could we zoom into this (like a map) so that where several logos are stacked on top of each other, we could see where they are?
I checked some blogs and online articles, and reviewed each vendor's individual site, too. NOTHING else compared to TrustRadius' ease-of-use!
No other review site compared to the ease-of-use that TrustRadius has. I trusted the reviews, found LOTS of information and user-experiences, and was even able to find other vendors in the web conferencing space that I wasn't aware existed.
