Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers

I always turn to TrustRadius when making purchasing decisions. As an operations leader, TrustRadius helps keep me informed of common features/questions that impact our buying decisions. Depending on the project, other department leaders are involved as well. What is nice is that TrustRadius helps to level-set and align on other software we should be looking at or considering during our buying processes. I have regularly turned to TrustRadius as a starting point for many types of evaluations.
  • Easy to see pros/cons for various software purchases
  • Trustworthy reviews from current buyers/users
  • Easy to find alternatives/common competitors to add to selection process
  • Shares best practices more frequently to help buyers understand which software they should be purchasing to drive results
  • Make it easier to see top companies for different purchases - maybe a verified TR software provider
  • Create the ability to send RFPs out via TR (one stop shop for buyers)
It is okay if a vendor does not share pricing up front, but I do prefer to get pricing information on the first call. If that is not possible, it tells me that their pricing model is unclear and that I might not be getting the best deal.
All review sites have varying levels of helpfulness. It is good to use a few in your search to see if you can find a key piece of information on different sites. That said, TrustRadius has a solid volume of reviews and makes it easy to see pros/cons and alternative vendors.
I like analyst reports and rankings, but I find that they usually are not niche enough to be truly helpful. To me they can be an indicator of where to look and why, but I find review sites like TrustRadius to be more valuable during the selection process.
I think scores can be nuanced, but I would look to see how competitors stack up. There may be industries where the software needs to mature and that causes a low rating. I tend to look at ratings on a case-by-case basis and evaluate against how similar competitors stack up.
It is often a challenge to find reviewers from companies with similar needs, which can make it difficult to understand the pitfalls and opportunities when implementing the software. Additionally, it is often challenging to know from the buyer's perspective, what to do to ensure optimal success in implementing a new software - how to realize value quickly.
It is free, easy to use, and extremely informative. It helps to understand pros/cons, features to look for when making a purchase decision, and also understand if there are other companies that should be included in your selection process. TrustRadius is a perfect starting point for buying decisions and can help ensure you make the right choices along the way.
