Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers

When thinking about ppm solutions we tried to decide how customized we wanted our solution to be compared to an industry-standard, out-of-the-box option. This led us to consider Backstop, SalesForce, and a few others that we were quickly able to eliminate based on price and size.
My most recent buying project was working with our marketing team to implement a new ppm tool. There were 6 of us involved to various degrees and the research process took about 6-7 months in order to start the purchasing and implementation process which took another 7-8 months. We needed it to replace unsupported older technology.

I typically only use Trust Radius as a review site tool and supplement with my existing professional network. I don’t think using more than one review site is necessary but it is useful to go to get different kinds of feedback such as other professionals you personally know or references provided by a vendor.
I think it’s important to get custom demos from the vendors if possible because you have the opportunity to walk through your specific use cases. This has helped our organization significantly, but reading reviews and feature ratings after these demos has helped us determine which products deliver on their sales pitch and which don’t.
Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Microsoft Teams, Wrike
Trust Radius is a great way to get feedback on tools and technology applications from other professionals both in and out of your industry. The reviews are thorough and usually thoughtfully crafted. The questions are framed well and cover a lot of different considerations. Overall I think it is a valuable resource.
