Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers

I've always found TrustRadius for Buyers very helpful when looking for enterprise software, hardware, and other tools, as well as gaining insights into how people genuinely find it in practice.

For instance, we might be looking to reduce our Adobe licensing fees, so TrustRadius for Buyers helps me find and evaluate comparable products. Or, we may be commencing exploration for a new ERP. Again, TrustRadius for Buyers helps identify suitable products and gain insight into how companies of a similar scale and industry find the product, along with any tips or tricks, such as their experiences with resellers vs. dealing direct, and so on. Or, we might be considering a new SAN, and TrustRadius for Buyers helps me find questions to ask the vendor - things I wouldn't have thought of by myself.

So, there are a lot of good reasons why I use TrustRadius for Buyers, and it always proves helpful.
  • Genuine user feedback
  • See pros and cons clearly
  • Compare products against each other
  • See customer feedback by company size and type
  • Nothing particular springs to mind
  • It's had a positive impact in helping us be confident in the selections we make
  • It's also had a positive impact in opening us up to other products/offerings we would not have known about
  • It's further allowed us to have deeper conversations with vendors about potential pitfalls we would not have known about otherwise
I've used Gartner Magic Quadrant reports in the past, which are informative but don't reflect the real-world experiences of people with the unique insights they can give. I find many people use the Magic Quadrant to help support a decision they have already made, vs. using it to guide the decision-making in the first place. The best thing I like about the Magic Quadrant is seeing the trend year-on-year and how products rise or fall, disappear, or appear. That long-term trend is possibly the best thing about the Magic Quadrant, more so than specific results in a particular year.
I look at product reviews, integrations, and genuine customer experiences from organisations of the same industry and size as ours. Sometimes the comments can be very helpful here and give hints to potential problems we would not have known about. It also can help give confidence the solution is proven for our space.
I find TrustRadius for Buyers more useful than the others because of the transparency and clarity of its user reviews, along with how easy it is to compare particular products and their pros and cons against each other.
TrustRadius for Buyers is well-suited for things like (a) shortlisting products to evaluate or explore further, (b) finding other options to compare against a specific product, (c) gaining real-world insight into the actual user experience in practice, by customer size and industry, (d) identifying areas of possible concern that can be raised with the vendor, that you would otherwise not have known to ask about.
