Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro (formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)

UKG Pro is used by all employees including our corporate office and 120 locations across the US. We utilize the following modules within UKG Pro---Payroll; Open Enrollment/Life Events; Performance Management; WFM (Time, TOA, Scheduling); UKG Mobile App; LMS.
  • Easy Payroll Processing with user friendly features (retro pay calculation, minimum wage validation; pending pay functionality).
  • Document acknowledgement tool.
  • Configurable ESS and Manager Self Service Workflows.
  • Configurable landing page for easy employee communications.
  • Excellent service model.
  • Inbox (To Do) in core needs to better integrate the functions of modules outside of core.
  • Payment services is slow to work service tickets.
  • WFM setup is not intuitive; WFM is click intensive.
  • Turnover reporting needs more functionality options.
  • Interface file setup is not timely.
  • UKG Pro has allow us to streamline processes and reduce costs.
  • UKG Pro has make basic HR functions much easier for employees and managers.
  • UKG has allowed us to move away from multiple fragmented systems, to one system that houses all employee relation modules under one roof.
Like any system, UKG Pro is not perfect it has it's misses here and there. However, compared to prior systems used, UKG Pro is one of the best around. There's a lot of functionality in the system that may not be turned on upon delivery. Customers should ask questions and investigate their options. Don't assume the system can't do something without asking.
No performance issues, other than some BI timekeeping reports are slow to load.
Overall support is good. The one area that UKG struggles with is Payment Services support. The tax payment division appears a bit overwhelmed and it's hard to speak with someone there. All of the support is through their ticketing system.
System is robust and has a lot of functionality. System can accommodate a complex business model. The system would most likely be overwhelming for a small organization where they lacked a system administrator who could oversee the platform.
