Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro (formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)

Our company is using UKG Pro as our primary HRIS, Benefits Administration and for Timekeeping solutions for the whole organization. We finalized the implementation process on March 2019 when the product was known as UltiPro. Beyond HRIS, Benefits, and Payroll, UKG Pro has improved our reporting and analytics approach to HR and Payroll. Previous timekeeping was almost non-existent as it was being handled manually with the submission of excel timesheets that involved a lot of risk for human error and non-ideal recordkeeping. To say that processes across the HR and Payroll team have improved and become more efficient at our company is an understatement. Anyone looking to streamline processes for HR and Payroll would want to consider UKG Pro as a solution.

  • I would prefer a support team that is assigned to and knows our account and products.
  • Disconnect between Core and UTM is frustrating, especially for PTO plans.

Our company had a very basic version of ADP Workforce Now, therefore it's very difficult to compare.
UKG Pro's performance has been consistent. My only complaint has been in recent months during the transition from UltiPro to UKG Pro, where our mobile solution was experiencing a lot of outages and that was a disruption to our timekeeping for our staff that relied on the mobile app for timekeeping. That created a lot of extra work for our employees, especially our managers who needed to correct timesheets and the payroll staff that needed to provide support.
In past experience, I've used payroll providers that have supplied a small support team to handle support cases for the account. Although the support line is easy to access for UKG Pro, it is often frustrating to get connected to someone that doesn't know our account and products well enough to provide an answer. I also don't appreciate when there is a back and forth between Core and UTM when trying to resolve an issue. In those case, I would appreciate someone in support that knows both modules because I'm not always going to know which one I need as the customer. Ultimately, I wish there was a dedicated team to reach for support.
I would recommend the product to a colleague with specific pros and cons listed on this review. Since experiences are unique to the user, the colleague would have enough feedback from us to make their own decision. Ultimately, the product is useful on a daily basis as is and there are constant updates and improvements to it.
