Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro (formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)

We switched to UKG Pro for our payroll and HR systems in 2018. Having all of our HR functions under one platform has been great. We are still working on adding more functions and becoming experts in others. Overall, we are very happy with the capabilities and efficiencies that UKG has provided.

  • Struggles with coordinating the bank file transfers.
  • Sometimes the language on the support site is too I.T. centric, uses acronyms that are not easy to understand.
  • Ability to manage almost all HR activities in one platform.

We were using an old version of Ceridian with very little HR capabilities. We switched to UKG for the ease of use, and ability to have all of our outdated systems (spreadsheets, internal software programs) under one roof.
The Learning module is very slow. We have only just begun to build on it, but it is frustrating the amount of time it takes to change pages, click through functions.

Reporting is great, very fast, easy to build basic reports if they do not already exist in the library.
My support cases have always been for modules other than payroll, but my support service has been great! Usually my cases are resolved in the same day. Very pleased with the human factor of the support team.
One of our roll-out team members/consultants, Ryan Gahan, was fantastic. He worked with us to set up several modules and was great with us when we were newbies. Most of the module roll-outs went very smoothly and had us excited for the launch.
UKG has the ability to involve all stakeholders in the company - from the executive team to low level administrators. It would be nice to see more training specifically for management and employee level users on how they can benefit from increased usage in UKG's capabilities.
