The need for this is backup solution in Veeam backup for Office 365 came along with the great use of Microsoft productions and the importance of having a safe and secure backup environment that can be accessed whenever it is needed. The growth of the organization and the number of staff made this solution a no brainer.

Usability

The install and management of the product is easy. You have access to your data whenever you need it. It backups 80% of the data types that we use. We also use other Veeam products that integrate well with the Veeam Microsoft 365 solution. The have been minor issues that have been solved with the help of support.

My organization has benefited from the control and access to data that Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 provides to its customers. We have many users that have lost emails, documents, notes, and so on. After they place a support ticket. We have been able to retrieve that data within a matter of minutes.

The Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 does provide the ability to restore files to its original location. We have needed this restoring ability many times over the years. We have used the .pst or email restore in the event that email has become corrupted or lost. We have used the restore to place a lost or delete file back into its original location.

My top favorite features of Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 are access to backups anywhere and anytime and flexible storage options.

We use the product year-round and need to be able to access data at any time of the day. This product does that for us.

We are able to integrate this product with our other backup and storage product that helps us add to our backup and recovery playbook.

Support Rating

Veeam Support for Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 has been above average. Support responds to inquires usually within a two hour window. They usually are able to help solve our issues or point us in the right direction. So of the how-to articles could be improved and the ability to find version upgrades could be improved.

From my experience, Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 is well suited for organizations looking for a backup solution that provides easy access for recovery and provides protection of its data

I believe Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 would not be suited for small organizations that do not have the resources to learn how to use the product or the resources to purchases the equipment needed to house the product.
