Overall Satisfaction with Webex App
We use the entire Webex Suite, messaging, integrated UCM calling, and Meetings. Webex helps us to keep in quick and constant contact amongst our teams and is a great tool for managing various project communications. Having a single, unified application for communications and one that integrates with our video conferencing presence is generally a productivity enhancer.
- Messaging Interface is intuitive an clean.
- Calendar integration.
- Webex Meeting scheduling and joining.
- The search functionality needs more utility. I would like to search space by date, for instance. Search does not do well after having to do a database reset.
- Pinning messages could be "bold" and allow multiple pinned messages with expiration dates.
- More user control of space grouping and hierarchy.
- Single place for chat communications has been a boon to employee reachability.
Webex is superior to Microsoft in video collaboration. Webex Meetings interface has come a long way, and the functionality and usability are superior. Where Webex is not so useful is document management. The interface for MS SharePoint/Onedrive is there, but it has been difficult for end-user adoption. It is much simpler to do this natively in Microsoft, and then users want to chat around those documents in Microsoft. Better integration there would be helpful.
