Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings
We would use Webex Meetings to hold conference calls and conduct training sessions. Having employees located across the United States, it was cost prohibitive to fly trainers or employees to different cities for training. Webex Meetings allowed us to conduct our training sessions and corporate meetings virtually. Other members of the business also used Webex Meetings as a daily communication tool.
- The chat function was a useful feature
- Calls were easy to make
- The startup process was very slow, and the UI was difficult to navigate
- Call quality was routinely poor
- The program always wanted to be the most prominent program on your computer, so it always pushed itself to the front and took processing power away from other system functions
- It is cost-effective
- It does not provide a great deal of versatility
- Zoom and Microsoft Teams
Teams and Zoom provide much greater functionality than Webex Meetings at this point. They also feel easier to use and are not as intrusive as Webex Meetings. In regards to video and call quality, using the same wi-fi network, Webex Meetings finishes last between the three options mentioned. The call quality just isn't as good, and calls drop more often with Webex Meetings.
