Overall Satisfaction with Workfront
WorkFront is used at my company as a creative project management system. The creative services team, marketing team, and a few members of the ops, training, franchise sales, etc., and corporate team are all on WorkFront and use it to input creative requests or plan their larger creative projects.
- Online proofing - ProofHQ is really top-of-the-line and I love that we no longer lose hard routed artwork on people's desks.
- Reporting - I have only skimmed the surface of what WorkFront reporting can do, but they are leaps and bounds above their competition.
- Resource allocation - tasking out work has never been faster.
- WorkFront was originally designed as an IT project management solution, so there are some legacy functionalities (like only being able to enter in issues, rather than tasks) that will frustrate you if you are only using it for your creative/marketing team. Hopefully, they make that update sooner rather than later.
- There's a decent level of customization with WorkFront, but some things are set in stone and can't be manipulated at all... Would love to be able to have that ability in the future.
- We went from 6 different creative teams using 4 different creative workflow systems, so now we have it all aligned on one for better collaboration, visibility, easier training, etc.
