Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

Wrike is used as a project management tool. Different teams use different Wrike processes. IT uses it for project intake from stakeholders and task management.

Pros

  • customizable request forms
  • workflows including different approvers at different steps
  • task blueprints

Cons

  • task ordering by priority (I think partly possible in table view but very clunky)
  • seeing information on a history of status changes and who applied these for all users
  • less frequent design updates that completely reshape the UX
  • improved workflows between teams for more efficiency
  • better communication between teams
  • sometimes overcomplicated Wrike process for easy tasks which could be handled very quickly outside of Wrike
  • more visibility of people's capacity to take on new projects
Better than Trello (more flexible), loses out to Jira from an IT project perspective but more user-friendly for the wider company

Do you think Wrike delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Wrike's feature set?

Did Wrike live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Wrike go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Wrike again?

Yes

well suited for project management between different business teams/ silos. Can be a bit too basic for some IT needs (doesn't offer the same ranking capabilities as Jira)

Wrike Mobile App

We use Wrike for the task intake and management process within the Product and IT team. I communicate with business stakeholders and BAs to collect requirements and move tasks forward. I use the mobile app mostly for UAT/ when testing features on mobile for easier file upload (ie mobile screen recs or screenshots). I less frequently also use it on the go to reply quickly to some tags/ tickets. All in all I use the mobile app less frequently than the desktop version.
I exclusively use it to see updates on ongoing taskst and comment where necessary. For this purpose I also use task search (which I don't think is currently very user friendly as this is quite buried inside the menu) as well as the file upload. I also tend to use the inbox more on the app compared to desktop due to the search not being easily accessible. I frequently use the pinned function and dashboard view on desktop, but again, I find this quite clunky on the app so haven't bothered using these functionalities much. I never use the my to do tab at all - on either desktop or mobile. It would be nice if this could be replaced with a search tab.
Task management features such as file upload as they enable me to reply quickly and efficiently on the go, as well as facilitate the upload of files captured on mobile.
I find some features a bit clunky, the task search for example is very buried inside the menu and so are my pinned tasks. It would be great to be able to customize the menu bar for quick access to the spaces i actually need.
Yes, wrike has made it very easy to comment on tasks and stay updated on the development cycle on the go, as well as to access information on certain items and communicate betweeen teams without desktop access. For reporting and dashboard overview, I still prefer using my desktop, but the mobile app is a handy addition for when I don't have access to this.
I'm just using the mobile app for myself, this wasn't rolled out officially to all teams so I can't relly comment on this. Installing it on my phone was easy enough.
not sure I understand this question
