Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent

I am personally using Xactly [Incent] to track my commission and compensation against our annual quota. This is being used on a company wide basis across our entire sales organization to enable real time visibility to performance against quota plan
  • Ability to see performance of individual down to deal and order level
  • Ability to see your team members performance
  • Ability to drill into and search by account, AE, oppty
  • Ideal feature would include week to week change so you can see what specifically changed in the prior week to effect comp or performance
  • Inability to identify change or delta. it is a snap shot of the current time/day
  • i am in a sales role so have not measured the ROI; however as a user I know this saves me considerable time each week from having to reconcile my compensation against orders booked because all of this data is sitting in 1 place and easily accessible
At the end of a quarter I will pull up the detailed view of Xactly [Incent] for that quarter and reconcile the opptys we closed against what booked in [Xactly Incent] to confirm we see all of the bookings correctly. Xactly [Incent] tends to be the source of truth so by reconciling against it, I ensure we are not missing any compensation or closed oppty and the team is paid accordingly.
I am only exposed to the Incent portion of Xactly. I am not using Xactly for territory/quota forecasting/allocation. We are using an internal tool to communicate our quota and that is rolled up on a larger scale to our OPS team. Not aware of what tool they use to then allocate and distribute the quota more widely or what they are doing for territory planning. we currently use our own CRM tool for forecasting
My understanding is we have integrated Salesforce CRM - where all of our opptys, closed bookings, Order info is stored and likely our ERP (Oracle)
I have not evaluated other products
Great to see performance of a large team [with Xactly Incent] and be able to drill into the actual deal/order/oppty and see all the field associated with the oppty like type of sku sold.
