Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent

We use Xactly Incent to calculate global commissions on a monthly basis. We have it fully integrated with Salesforce to capture data directly from or CRM as well as an API link to PowerBI that allows us to do all of our reporting. Using Xactly shortened the calculation cycle from weeks to just days while also increasing accuracy.
  • Plan Administration to route and track documents.
  • CRM integration was easy and eliminates the need for a manual process.
  • Calculating commissions are now uniform and consistent across all plans and there is no longer a need for excel.
  • The end user dashboards take some time to understand for sales employees that only log into the tool once and awhile.
  • Setting up an individual position and title for each employee takes some time to get used to in our application. We have individual people set up as custom unique positions essentially duplicating the records.
  • Eliminated manual calculations in excel.
  • Cut the commission cycle in half.
  • Allows Sales Reps to see deals closing and crediting in a daily basis.
We use PowerBI to create ranking reports and summarize data to understand our margins better.
We currently are only using Incent to calculate commissions and CEA to manage capitalization and expenses.
Integration with SFDC allows for almost real time calculation of commissions throughout the month allowing for more review time.

PowerBI allows us to do many deep dive analyses of how we are paying for various deal types.

Xactly is well suited to streamline commission calculations and plan administration. We have tried to use to it provide a monthly accrual and forecast but version control is challenging.
