Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent

Currently our team manages a handful of different business units and their commission processes. We are transitioning teams away from manual processes into a more streamlined experience with Xactly Incent. Moving each team into Xactly Incent will cut major time out on manual data manipulation, while also giving our sales teams instant visibility to their commission amounts once sales have been finalized. Instead of having to distribute individual statements, each team member can access the platform at their will and check their individual amounts, and team amounts if they manage other employees.

  • Allows leaders to have access to customized reporting, which can help drive business decisions
  • Motivates the sales team with ranking information throughout the year
  • Sometimes there is a slight lag in being able to refresh the data
  • No customization with adding logos
  • Initial navigation of the application can be tough (there are so many areas to dive into!)
  • Major decrease in hours allocated to commission processes once streamlined to Incent
  • Increase in productivity for our team as we can focus on additional projects with the automation in Xactly Incent
  • Increase in desire for more business units within our company to add their commission process to the "transition" list to Incent
We are able to leverage achievement analytics against the true commission paid, which allows us visibility into understanding whether or not high performers are being compensated as they should, and vice versa. Having these metrics and being able to compare different business units within our organization also allows us to see what works well, and allows us to make business decisions/strategies when looking at compensation modeling for future years.
To my knowledge this is not an area of our business that we've fully utilized Xactly Incent's capabilities. I've used the sales planning, and forecasting tools at other organization prior, and can confirm they are quite beneficial and popular with sales leaders. I'm looking forward to seeing if we can leverage these tools in the near future.
Absolutely! The ease of being able to upload a file right to FileZilla and then run the process jobs in I Xactly Incent has been an absolute game-changer! At my prior company we were utilizing manual uploads for all of our data and it was much too cumbersome a task. Leveraging the relationship between Xactly Incent and FileZilla has been fantastic!
The sales team mainly uses the product to leverage monthly/yearly data as a tool for making strategic business decisions in future months or years. Sales leaders also use the tool to check on the health of their teams (commissions paid or achievement), and can leverage the rankings as a motivation tactic.
I've only used Xactly Incent in my current role, however I used Oracle at a previous employer and found it a bit clunky and outdated. The interface was quite outdated, and the navigation was not user friendly. I've found Xactly Incent to be much easier to use for both administrators like myself, and the sales team.

Xactly Incent works well when you have a medium to large size sales team that has plenty of different data points used throughout their commission process. Regardless of whether the data is messy or not, Xactly Incent has found fantastic ways to integrate any type of data set into their application. I have full confidence that this product would be a major benefit to most, if not all commission teams!
