Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent

We use Xactly Incent to calculate and display commissions to our sales force while implementing over 30 comp plans per year for all aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Accuracy of calculation
  • Display real-time results
  • Ease of use
  • Better reporting
  • Better versioning
  • Prior period processing ease
  • If the tool is used properly it can save a great deal of time vs manually handling
Currently we are not using benchmarking data. Because the analytics tool is not so user friendly, most easy reports are done in Analytics and then downloaded to improve them.
We currently are not. I started here 6 months ago and am in the process of improving the system with the hopes to use this in the future for more planning and modeling.
Just working on implementing this in order to get cleaner, updated data.
Finance uses the Xactly payroll numbers for forecasting.

Yes

Xactly Incent works extremely well for the easier components based on product or quota attainment. As long as you can understand the formula process it is quite easy to write these formulas. It is not great with IF statements so you will need multiple rules/formulas to handle these. The analytics reporting tool is also not user-friendly in my opinion.
