If I ever have an issue, the support center has always been able to assist promptly. The few times we have upgraded to a newer version of the product the support we received during those times was also very helpful and made the process easier and less stressful to deal with.

Calabrio ONE

Calabrio has been great for our education environment. We have the ability to access live calls, recorded calls and evaluate based on the duration of calls. I would like to see the Reporting tab transformed and allow for more customizable reports. Overall, we have had success with Calabrio and we look forward to our partnership.

  • Allows varied types of time.
  • The system handles very well the varied over time, pay and holiday rules we have in place.
  • Easy to use by both employees/students and their supervisors.

  • The Copy Schedule feature has definitely been a plus. We did not have that feature in our former WFM software.
  • The particular window views for the Scheduler Role are more aesthetic/user friendly than our former WFM software.
  • Being able to add activities, exceptions or projects in as little as 5 minute increments is a plus.

  • Our business is split up into 6 call centers with more than 400 users. As an administrator, owning the PTO approvals could be tricky as they all show up in the same queue. I wish they would have the ability to filter through the call center staff.
  • After an exception has been entered and saved if you need to edit or remove it entirely you must remove it from the schedule view and the application management section under the agent. This creates more work. I would like to see it removed entirely if you end up removing from either end. For example, if you only remove it from the schedule view it will still show on a report.

In some ways, the flexibility of eTime makes it much more usable than some time card systems. I can log my own hours at my convenience (as long as it is during the pay period), and eTime sends me a reminder email 24 hours before the cut-off for each pay period. I can log hours for multiple positions using particular pay codes, although there is no way for me to save frequently used or "my" pay codes -- adding this feature would be a much-appreciated improvement to eTime's usability. Juggling multiple pay codes within the current system, however, is cumbersome. There can also be problems if an incorrect or overlapping hour is accidentally entered and saved -- certain fields turn red and are difficult to adjust, often requiring the help of a software administrator. Correcting other errors and entering historical hours is extremely difficult, and the software does not work well on some browsers (and it is unattractive when I have been able to get it to work)

They are very similar in many areas. Reporting is about the same, and I can see why some people may go for the bigger names. But one of the things that I have noticed that has made a difference is the way that the tool evolves with you. A lot of the features that Calabrio has have been incorporated from feedback from users like us. The other two, they do receive some feedback, but the input the customers have is minimal. I have been on calls where Calabrio discusses their roadmap with us and we could see which items were good, which ones could improve, and some features we wanted to see. Then, the next release or two you would see some of those items. When you add that to the great customer support they provide, it truly feels like you have a partner and you are not just another number.
