Paycom is a core HR management software solution. It includes features such as talent acquisition and management, time tracking, and payroll management. It offers some automation capacities, particularly regarding payroll.
ADP is more robust and user friendly solution compared to Paycom. Using Paycom would have required sourcing additional vendors to meet our HR needs. ADP provided more functionality and overall was a better fit for our organization despite the higher price tag.
So far it is night and day. In my experience, ADP provides a much better platform, much improved customer service, and overall attentiveness to their customers.
We left our last product carrier due to the lack of support we got. We gave them a year and a half to improve before terminating our relationship. It took an average of 7 days to complete a support request (no matter the urgency).
It used to take me hours to work between ADP Resource and ezLabor, Paycom does it in less than 30. We also must have been getting the bonus rate from ADP because it's a lot cheaper than what they were billing us for their outdated and discontinued software. I have used other …
Paycom was the service that met all of our needs at the best value. Others are more expensive or lacked all of the operational items that we wanted to cover.

Paycom is by far the best of the systems I have used. It is more intuitive and easier to navigate. ADP's systems were horrible, and their implementation and management teams are not good. I do not recommend ADP at all.
I have used ADP and found it to be difficult to intuit without a lot of prior knowledge and exposure to the configuration. Paycom is easy to understand, even if you have no prior exposure to the system. ADP uses a marketplace approach to provide additional services that can …
Paycom has far better and more reliable customer service and is very user-friendly. Accurate payroll processing the first time, every time. Very cost-effective. Paycom has superior applicant tracking, easy-to-use tax return data for hiring veterans, etc. Paycom team members …
learning curve to transition was a bit of a challenge. Experienced, "I know it's in here, in Paycom...I know the data is here...where do i find it" lots of hunt and click time. But again, that's a learning curve and i wasn't a part of the initial implementation.
We used multiple versions of ADP over the years and each was awful to use. Paycom's customer support was so much better than that of ADP and that was a huge selling point. ADPs customer service was awful! You were routed to India every time you had a question and no-one could …
