Teleopti WFM is very well suited for call center environments where every minute of your team members' time needs accounting for. If you manage 50+ employees, Teleopti is a good tool to make sense of it all, especially when you need to address various business needs at different times of day.

When I Work

I recommend When I Work to those companies that are looking for a way to manage work schedules and want to increase the productivity of all employees. This is an important platform that would bring excellent results to small, medium and large companies. This is a constant monitoring system which allows employees to complete their tasks in the indicated time, When I Work sends automated alerts when an employee is not complying with their tasks and this allows us to know exactly the productivity we are having in each one of the sectors. It is an excellent platform for planning and administration of working hours, it has a very easy-to-use UI that allows schedules to be easily managed. Without a doubt, When I Work would be a perfect implementation for any sector or company, since it has a lot of potential to collect exact data on compliance with working hours.

Pros

Calabrio Teleopti WFM

  • Shift bids. It has a tremendous number of options for ranking agents bye seniority, quality scores, and other factors.
  • Customer service has always been a strong point with Teleopti. There's never a problem getting help with use of the system or technical issues.
  • User interface. Our agents really enjoy using their schedule portal and find it seamlessly integrates with their other software.
  • The installation and onboarding process was pretty smooth considering other launches we've had.

  • I love the way When I Work allows me to communicate with all my work colleagues in real time, I can have a fluid conversation that helps me to have better planning or data exchange. This communication from this platform is very stable and helps us to be more planned.
  • All work days are updated at every moment in the user panel, this helps us all to know the list of work hours, and which personnel must carry out their work at a specific time. This constant update helps us to avoid confusion in the schedules of each day.
  • Every time I make changes to my working day, any modification of the schedule or any exchange of the working day with one of my colleagues, my bosses receive an automatic notification, which helps them to keep track of who will work at each schedule.

Cons

Calabrio Teleopti WFM

  • Sometimes the features can look very similar or can be very minimal in the requests tools so it is very easy to make user mistakes (not swapping a field from the default or forgetting to check a box)
  • I tried integrating this calendar with Google Calendar and it never updates the same day when changes are made. It seems like it always take 24 hours to update in other interfaces.

When I Work

  • You cannot view inactive employees on the app.
  • When pulling up the schedule on the app, it defaults to Tuesday when the screen is done loading.
  • If you pull up an individual's schedule it removes your default settings. For example, I have mine set to just my store, but if I need to see an employee's schedule it resets those defaults. You're always looking at the last schedule you pulled up.

While it's one of the better apps, my only complaint is the icon layout of the dash; mouseover sometimes doesn't work for my system.

Every time I contact When I Work staff with an issue, someone is there with a quick solution to my problem. I love the chat feature. I can continue to work on other things while the When I Work representative assists me.

When I Work

When I Work seemed a bit easier to implement for our team and employees. When I Work had all the things we needed without a lot of the bells and whistles that we wouldn't really utilize. When I Work was also a bit more affordable for our budget. Overall, it was the better choice.

  • It has saved us a ton of time and money on the WFM management side by optimizing schedule creation and break placement.
  • Unfortunately the rash of technical issues have been a downside from an ROI side, every minute we are offline is lost revenue.
  • We saved a ton of money because of their excellent training and customer service offerings, there was no need for a laborious install process or protracted training.

  • Makes estimating payroll simple.
  • Is convenient for staff to use because they can utilize it on their own device.
