Definitive is very well suited when you need overall knowledge of an organization. I would not recommend using this specifically to enrich the database with contact records.

HubSpot Sales

HubSpot Sales is well suited for sales teams that want to really use a CRM. As with any tool like this, it is only as effective as the willingness of the team to use it. Adoption is easy and the overhead of keeping it updated is not real heavy. It seems to be most ideally suited for smaller teams, but I could see it being quite effective for larger teams, as well.

  • We can link information directly to Salesforce pages. Automatically updates on pages.
  • Gives specifics about organizations such as executives, size, revenue, etc.

HubSpot Sales

  • Excellent e-mail and calendar integration with Gmail. I believe it also does it with Outlook.
  • Templates are excellent for emails. I use a standard template to reach out to people that have downloaded collateral or signed up to my mailing list which I then customise based on my research. It really saves time by having a standard format with some verbiage I've written.
  • Super easy to customise fields and add items to picklists, etc.
  • I really like the ability to know who has viewed my documents and track that.
  • It tells me prospects in terms of which domains are on my website.

  • I have noticed they do not update C suite members often, so when trying to reach out to prospects, the information can be outdated.

HubSpot Sales

  • When creating new contacts from the sales extension/email log in CRM it defaults to subscriber. *UPDATE!!* 4/25 HubSpot emailed me this morning about this and said they made an update which set the default lifecycle stage to lead in the sidebar (sales extension)!! YAY!
  • There used to be a check box in "log in CRM" to default to "always log in CRM" but it's gone...I'm not sure why!
  • It'd be nice if you could associate people with multiple companies or "past company" were an option.
  • Emailing two people in one email is difficult with tracking and tracking replies, especially when separate and not replied to all, is challenging.

It's totally clean, consistent, and easy to use/understand. I love everything about this tool! From Gmail to being in the platform everything looks similar, is orange and easy to find, and very clear and user friendly. It's intuitive and hey, if my sales reps are using it it must be good and simple!

Oh my goodness HubSpot Support is just amazing. I submitted a question/issue to them yesterday and by this morning I had this response:
"Hi Stephanie,I hope this finds you well and thanks so much for your patience while I was working to update the extension with my team. We were actually able to push through an update yesterday afternoon which set the default lifecycle stage to lead in the sidebar. If you take a look now, that should be in place. If it has not updated yet, I would recommend uninstalling and re-installing the sales extension so an updated version and be pushed through.Again, I want to say that I sincerely appreciate that you took the time to reach out to us and help us iron this out. HubSpot really values constructive feedback with real use-case backing to help push it along. So, thank you!"

They scheduled a call to go over each individual tool with our team and provided guidance and best practices plus answered any questions are new users had. I use both. Definitive Healthcare is better when you need specific hospital and clinic names. ZoomInfo only gives you a local address but refers to each location as the health system name so hard to define where particular people are from.

HubSpot Sales

Most CRMs offer the basic "address book" with the ability to layer on other products. HubSpot has all of this under one hood. There are a lot of similarities between CRM tools, I have just personally found HubSpots to be the easiest to use

  • It’s great in helping to set up systems and processes that work around the clock even while you sleep.
