EdApp vs. Jenzabar ONE

EdApp is great if you want to have internal training and do not want to waste time for the agency to understand your business, you do it yourself. It’s great for field structures as it’s built for mobile and built to be snappy - great time saver! It’s not yet great in the area of Power BI dashboards and customizable reports for usage.

Jenzabar ONE is strongly suited for an all-in one solution for higher ed. The modern web-based platform make it efficient for end users. An institution that wants a full communication platform to connect with students, Jenzabar is the right product for your school. As with any product, development with Jenzabar One continues which is a good thing but also may cause some schools to want more features more quickly.

• Database setup has to be done tagged manually
• It does not provide an option to send newsletters for selected accounts

• Almost every module requires extensive training and building to have it function for your institution.
• Some of the automated housing matchings is difficult to set up and must be changed each semester.

It’s really easy! After the onboarding with the app I’m able to ‘spit out’ a course within 1hr. That means I can now do pre-work for any meeting and see who did it and also shorten meeting time that usually was wasted on explanation of the topic. The mobile access made it simple for everyone and lead to our field force employees finding time for development between client visits.

They have a live person on the line. Easy going and responsive. Problem was resolved within 17mins when I anticipated it would take hours!

EdApp has an easier interface. It allows you to start building whole courses with many lessons within first hours of use. It’s design looks more professional which results in a better fit for business environment. Unlike Kahoot!, it’s not recognised as ‘the thing my kids have at school’ - important factor in terms of user approach to content provided in lessons.

• It started ‘binge learning’ thanks to 8min average time needed to complete a lesson
• It allowed a 93% completion rate for field force training materials (up from 47%)
• It allowed for easy and attractive implementation of mandatory content (compliance/lex)

• We have not taken full advantage of all the modules that Jenzabar One provides yet. However, in news releases and product documents many improvements have been made.
